FOLLOW THE DREAMS

Everyone has a dream but only few have courage to pursue it. Most of the people have a say about dream that it would be very expensive to live the dream. But they don’t realize the price of not living the dream. The reason behind this is that they are afraid of striving. A dream has nothing to do with material possessions. A person going after the dream doesn't care about the applause he gets for minor success because he is clear in his goals and his happiness lies somewhere else. The good effect of going after a dream is that it keeps the killer instinct alive inside you, a killer instinct that motivates you to reach the impossible.

Everyone don’t succeed while pursuing their dream but in real life it’s neither the victory nor the defeat is important, what’s important is fighting a good fight.

To proceed in one direction, everyone has to sacrifice the other path. One day Sachin Tendulkar and his friends met at a place and they told him that he has missed a lot of moments like fun in marriage of friends, get together etc. Then Sachin replied, "Yes I may have missed something but you have sacrificed something too. I just did what I wanted to do right from the beginning, I lived my life to the fullest and followed my dream. According to me you have sacrificed a lot more."

If we have courage to dream then surely that courage does not come worthlessly, we have been instilled with a power to make that dream come true. So we must follow our dreams fearlessly because fear of failure is the only thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve.

As I said earlier that everyone don’t succeed but it’s better to do something than nothing. Losing doesn’t mean you haven’t gained anything. Engaging in a battle gives an immense delight in the heart.

Someone has rightly said, “What we sought of avoid in combat -disappointment and defeat- come upon us because of our cowardice.” So follow your dream so that there is nothing to regret afterwards.

NEVER LET YOUR PASSION DIE

Who are we? At our age what matters the most is our passion, a spark that induces us to move forward. A passion that never fades with time. Passion that never gets down in hard and unpredictable situations.

Learn from the Australian Cricket Team, the Kangaroos play and put their heart in getting the batsmen out. They aim not only to restrict star batsmen from flourishing runs but also bowl sincerely to the tail-enders making sure that there is nothing to regret afterwards if going gets tough in the match. They just keep bowling the deadly bodyline bouncers and also bowl wicket to wicket at a lethal pace. On the other hand India, the ODI champions work really hard to get the top order batsmen out and break the backbone of the middle order but call it insincerity or overconfidence that they give too much runs in front of the lower order. This makes the situation tougher. No matter India is a team with huge potential but they have to take their performance up to the mark.

We should learn from the Aussies to give 100% till the victory is achieved. Never get diluted by the minor successes. This may cause you lose your concentration. Always remember the dream you saw on day 1 of your battle. This will accelerate you towards your goal. Tough times will come but never back down.

Someone has rightly said, “The moment you think that you are in a good position is actually the moment when you start losing.”

Alone In the Crowd

Adolf Hitler said, "If you have one friend then you are lucky. If you have two then you are very lucky and no person can have three friends." But this was the time before the rise of Social Networking sites. These resulted in an immense increase in our friend list. Most youngsters feel high in account of their friend list. Some think having 500 to 1000 friends is a big achievement whereas people having less feel dejected. But the ludicrous fact is that they all  know that most of them are their Virtual friends. Such friends will not be available in need. In reality they take our real friends away from us.
We have a tradition of having evening halts after schools in the form of playing, gossips, sitting on the roof (in short 'matargashti'). Those unions were like unofficial teachers which taught us to develop our debate skills, solve problems of friends. But now every meeting is online which holds us back from getting many learnings.

Most of the Internet worms don't know the name of their neighbour of same age. But they get to know about it only when they are in need. Inspite of that they remain believing in Virtual world. They don't even think about that they should have a friend with whom they can walk, talk and play. Don't you think that the sound of your friend calling your name is a lot louder than the beep sound of your Facebook chat.
The glamour of the virtual world refrains us from the real world making us unconcerned to the social responsibilities. There was a time when children used to spend a lot of time outside the house playing, walking and making houses of bricks. Parents used to say, "Beta, kabhi ghar me bhi tik jaya karo", because the outside world was more attractive to children. But now, parents say, "kabhi to ghar se bahar nikla karo", but the outside world doesn't suit them any more. If they go outside then there may be earphones in their ears or they may be busy in sending SMS which cuts their contact with the real world and hence makes them self-centered.

Its not  crime to become a part of the virtual world but we should not make it dominate on our real world. Make friends in real life too, starting with the neighbours. Develop the contacts with people of same age group. Spend at least a day in a week wiith your friends, away from chatting, SMS and laptops. Look at the world and its beauty and enjoy the company of real friends. You are the Hero of your life, live your life to the fullest.
